Effective October 21, 2026. Lexcavate is published by Kettlehop Games, a game label operated by Deadroom Ventures LLC. By using Lexcavate, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Playing Lexcavate
The daily word game is free to play and does not require an account. Lexcavate is ad-free for everyone, always. An optional membership does not remove ads; we do not show ads in the game.
Please use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt the game, its services, or other players' access.
Lexcavate Plus
Lexcavate Plus is not currently available for purchase. When enrollment opens, the offer is planned at $9.99 USD for one year, with no free trial. It adds a separate three-word daily dig (21 additional word discoveries each week) and a second Sunday finale. The free daily dig remains complete and free.
Before confirming a purchase, checkout will show the amount due, currency, any applicable taxes, the yearly renewal amount, and when the next charge is due. If you purchase, you authorize a $9.99 USD charge at checkout and automatic renewal at $9.99 USD once each year until canceled. If the price or offer changes for a future renewal, we will give any notice required by law before charging the new amount.
You can cancel online from your signed-in account under Manage or cancel membership. Cancellation stops the next renewal; Plus remains available through the current paid period while your account remains active. If you delete your account after scheduling cancellation, deletion immediately ends Plus access, including any remaining paid time. Keep the account until the end of the period if you want to continue playing Plus through that date.
Stripe processes membership payments. Lexcavate does not store your full payment-card number. For billing questions or refund requests, contact hello@lexcavate.com. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Accounts
Accounts are optional for free play and are required only for membership access and account-based progress sync. Keep access to the email address or passkey you use to sign in. You are responsible for activity on your account. Account deletion removes account-based data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Game content and availability
Lexcavate's clues, boards, stories, and word-history summaries are provided for entertainment and general information. We source the editorial facts and link to references, but the site is not a substitute for professional advice. We may correct errors, maintain the service, or update game content and features.
We aim to keep the service available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. If a paid feature is materially unavailable, contact us at hello@lexcavate.com; applicable legal rights remain unchanged.
Changes and contact
We will update these terms if the service or membership offer changes. Continuing to use Lexcavate after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms to the extent allowed by law. Questions: hello@lexcavate.com.
